Intercooler Reinforcement Plate ZL-1

The LSA engines are powerhouses and are extremely responsive to power increasing modifications, even in stock form. They have one weak point; the intercooler bricks. The end tanks are built from thin material and will eventually collapse in, blocking off coolant flow and sending your IAT's soaring or worse.... Internal coolant leaks into the engine. 

Our reinforcing plates are laser cut from .125" thick 6061 aluminum. When welded to your factory intercooler brick these will protect it from collapsing during those WOT pulls on the freeway merge lane or serving a gapperoni pizza to your buddies Hellcat. Suitable for stock combos all the way to you party animals with 2.40 upper pulleys. 

Sold as a pair (front and back). Requires welding, we recommend TIG.
